Baltics to Berlin !!!

BALTICS TO BERLIN

For many folks, it’s easy to think of the Baltic countries — Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania — as fictional kingdoms in a fairy tale. But they are real places with compelling histories and friendly, fair-haired people. Join professional photographer Bill Perry and Dorothy Ruef as they fly into Helsinki, Finland, and then work their way by local bus down through the Baltics. From there they enter modern-day Poland and travel west to Berlin, Germany, a booming capital where every scene contains reminders of its often-turbulent history. The presentation features 150 images made in August, plus commentary by Bill Perry. See the interesting people who have thrown off communism and are happily joining the rest of Europe.
