Denise DeSio’s debut novel “Rose’s Will” is a fictionalized account of the bizarre circumstances surrounding her mother’s death and the Bulgarian Holocaust survivor her mother left behind.  The book’s three main characters — a wealthy Bulgarian Holocaust survivor, a lesbian atheist and a blue-collar family man juggling too many responsibilities, all struggle to maintain a relationship with Rose, a small-minded Italian woman from Brooklyn. The book received Goodreads’ Readers’ Choice Award for Favorite General Fiction and a five-star rating from Amazon.
