Destination: Rome
Rome, the capitol of the known world and the birthplace of Christianity 2,000 years ago, declined into a wolf-infested swamp in the Dark Ages and then re-emerged as a center of religion and culture within the last 600 years. Today, it is a vital and exciting place to visit, and has influenced life in little Ajo — the languages we speak, the religions, the architecture and many facets of our culture, we can attribute to Rome. Join professional photographer Bill Perry for a walk around modern Rome with 160 recent photos and commentary on how it all relates to us.
