The 2013 T-Shirt Design contest sponsored by the Ajo Chamber has begun!
Do you think you have the PERFECT design for the contest? Submit your design to see if you could win.
The theme this year is the uniqueness of Ajo. The design will be printed on a white T-Shirt and the design must include the following wording:
Ajo, AZ “Heart of the Sonoran Desert”
We are looking for some unique characteristics of Ajo. This may be A Mountain, cultural richness, historic buildings, animals or flora.
Entries must be received by Friday, December 27th, 2013 by 4:00pm.
Entry Fee: $10.00

Now for the details…
Artists Eligible: Open to all artists, professional and amateur. Entry Fee: $10.00 per entry.
Presentation: Designs must be 8” by 10” or smaller. You may use any medium: from paints, photography and drawings . The design must be suitable for screening onto a whiteT-Shirt. The following information must be included:

And has to be about the unique characteristics of Ajo like the A hill,cultural richness, Historic buildings in town, desert animals or flora. All artwork must be original. All other work will be disqualified.
Deadline for entries: Entries must be received by Friday, december 27th, 2012 by 4:00 P.M.

Winners: The Ajo Chamber Contest Committee chooses 3 winning designs and all decisions will be final. The 3 best design will get printed in the T-Shirts to be sold at the Visitor Center gift store.
Awards: Registration proceeds will be distributed between 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
Retention of designs: The entries become the exclusive property of the Ajo Chamber of Commerce and has exclusive rights to the reproduction of winning entries and the submitting artists relinquish all rights to such design.
Publicity and Agreement: Entering this contest constitutes an agreement by the winning artists to relinquish all copyrights to the submitted work to the Contest and to appear as requested for publicity purposes. Winning designs become the property of the Ajo Chamber of Commerce, which retains exclusive rights to its reproduction.
Liability: The Ajo Chamber of Commerce will take the utmost care and caution to maintain designs in their original condition. However, they will not accept liability or provide insurance coverage in the event of damage of loss of the submitted design.
