Join photographer Katey Gormley at the Cabeza Prieta NWR on Saturday, January 14th at 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. to learn how to make the most of the camera you have available, even if it’s your cell phone camera! Katey will teach basic photography skills on the Visitor Center birding trails. Coffee and doughnuts will be served.

Continue using your new skills that evening on top of Child’s Mountain for the sunset tour. Capture that amazing and memorable photo! Bring a friend to both events.
In addition to the camera workshop the visitor center will open from 9:00 a.m. and close at 11:30 a.m on January 14th.
Sunset tour of Child’s Mountain will be that evening, leaving the parking lot of the v.c. at 4:00 p.m. The grill will be hot at the top as well as the scenery! Bring something to grill, wear warm outerwear and closed-toed shoes. Call the vc for further information. 520-387-6483
